A classic skill toy that has entertained children, in various forms, since the 16th Century.

This take on the classic French Bilboquet, manufactured by Chavet, features a small cup to catch the large ball on top and a spike on the bottom for the hole in the ball.

It's beautifully made and attractively finished in a nice green colour. The paint will crack and mark during play but this adds character to the toy.
