An authentic Pitching Horseshoes game manufactured by St. Pierre, the only remaining manufacturer of pitching horseshoes in the USA.
The Royal set includes 4 forged steel horseshoes (in blue and red) and 2 solid steel stakes. Considered America's favourite backyard horseshoe, this set is ideal for the garden, park or beach.
Pitching Horseshoes is simple; land your horseshoe around the stake or score with the nearest shoe to it. The official throwing distance is 40ft, but this can be adapted depending on your space and ability.
Please note that these forged steel horseshoes weigh approximately 2lbs each. The game can be dangerous if not played responsibly.

Pitching Horseshoes is a classic American backyard game. Very simple, but lots of fun, try to land your horseshoe around the stake or closest to it to score. A great garden game for 2 - 4 players.
The Presidential horseshoes have more weight forged into the tips for maximum balance and control and a tapered leading edge that allows the shoe to slide onto the stake.
These horseshoes are NHPA approved for tournament play.
