Bowling Arm (aid for bowler who has difficulty bending)
- Useful and practical tool for disabled or elderly bowlers
- Held by the handle at the top and squeezed to release the bowl as the arm is swung
- EBA and Bowls Australia approved
- From Drakes Pride
A very useful and practical tool for disabled or elderly bowlers is a bowls or bowling arm. The arm is held by the handle at the top and then squeezed to release the bowl as the arm is swung. It allows the bowl to be delivered without the usual bending and crouching that's required. It is therefore a great bowling aid for the elderly and/or disabled player who may struggle to bowl in the conventional way.
The bowling arm is EBA and Bowls Australia approved.
We have tested the arm with a carpet bowl (around 10cm diameter) and it also worked fine. However, we cannot guarantee it will work with bowls smaller than this.
