For most Bar Billiards tables, the rubber should be stuck directly on to the timber of the cushion using any high impact adhesive suitable for rubber. We have Neoprene impact adhesive which is perfect for this job. The Neoprene glue does not crystalise under the repeated impact of balls or hands so should last longer than Superglue or other adhesives found in high street shops.

Some larger tables use cushion tape to help hold the billiard cushion rubber to the top surface of the wooden cushions.
We are not billiard table fitters so cannot offer full advice but we understand that this cushion tape is pressed along the top face of the rubber and the adjacent wooden cushion thus helping to hold the two together and also keeping the rubber against the cushion in the correct place. The cloth is pulled over the top of both the rubber and the tape.
This is a reel of cushion tape that is 50mm wide and suitable for most tables that use it. It is not suitable for steel block cushions which require a slightly wider tape.

The difference between the ordinary Club rubber and the more expensive UK made Northern rubber is two-fold: Life expectancy on the club rubber is around 5 years under normal use; Northern rubber might be double that. The Northern rubber also has a slightly greater response (bounce) and furthermore, the response will reduce/deteriorate noticeably less quickly with the Northern rubber.
