For Bar Billiards, this is our recommended cue, if your budget will allow it. It is possible to play Bar Billiards with any Snooker cue but unless you are an expert competition Bar Billiards player requiring a high-quality cue, full-size Snooker cues are rather long for the shorter tables – so a shorter cue is preferable. The original Jelks and Sams table tended to come with quality shorter cues and the 54 inch Merit cues are about the right size to hang along the sides of such tables. The 48 inch cues will also work.
