A superb 57 inch, full size 8 Ball Pool cue by Peradon, the world’s oldest cue manufacturer. The Pulsar cue is crafted in England from carefully selected kiln dried North American Ash and Rosewood, offering excellent balance, strength and a traditionally smooth playing feel.
The Ash is carefully selected for its strength and straightness before being turned and machine spliced to the Rosewood butt timber. A Rosewood front splice with a Plum veneer between two Sycamore veneers is then added to enhance the cue’s appearance and give it a distinctive traditional style.
The cue is then shaped to its final tapered finish before undergoing numerous sanding and finishing processes to create an exceptionally smooth texture.
To help eliminate joint problems, the two sections of the solid brass ‘Quick Action’ joint are precision turned from single pieces of brass and fitted 16″ from the butt end, giving the cue a shaft length of 41″.
The shaft is fitted with the female section of the joint, while the butt carries the male section. This clever design allows the supplied 6″ mini butt to be attached directly to the shaft when the main butt section is removed, creating a shorter 47″ cue that is ideal for awkward shots in restricted spaces.
The cue also features a ‘Quick Action’ butt end joint which accepts the supplied mini butt, extending the cue length to 63″ for easier play on shots that would normally require a rest.
The butt is finished with a Peradon Pulsar name disc.
This cue features a solid brass ferrule and 8 to 8½mm Elkmaster tip.
The cue also comes supplied with a smart attache case with a protective foam interior, designed specifically for 3/4 jointed cues. The fitted interior helps keep the cue secure during transport and storage, offering added protection and making it easier to carry the cue to clubs, matches and practice sessions.
