In this Carcassonne expansion, Siege and Defense 2025, the city is under attack. Players invest meeple to strengthen defenses and earn points, but poor support may cost valuable features. Included in the expansion are 18 new land tiles, 2 fortress tiles, 3 catapults and 12 standard meeple.
This refreshed 2025 edition features updated rules for smoother gameplay, a compact box design, and artwork that fits the current Carcassonne style. All refreshed expansions are compatible with both the old and new editions, and the ten 2025 expansion boxes together form a panoramic image when displayed.
