Poker Dice in Plastic Case

Description

A simple set of five 15 mm Poker Dice supplied in a compact plastic case. It is a handy little item to keep in a drawer or bag for a quick game when needed. The dice are rounded corner quality pieces made in Europe and the small case keeps them together so they are easy to take along or keep handy at home.

Poker Dice use the card ranks from Nine up to Ace. Each player takes up to three throws. After each roll you choose which dice to keep and which to roll again, aiming for the best combination you can make. Hands follow familiar Poker ideas such as pairs, three of a kind and full house, and with fewer ranks the odds of getting a decent result are a little kinder. Once everyone has taken their three throws, players compare hands to see who comes out on top.

The set works well as a quick, light game for families and it can also be played more like Poker by using counters or small items to represent bets, giving the game a little extra structure and interaction without using real money.
