Ideal for the larger table, the Strachan West of England 6811 Club baize is a cost-effective alternative to the 6811 Tournament cloth from Strachan. It is a high quality, fast, club quality snooker cloth but doesn’t tend to last as long as the Tournament.
You choose the table size – we will supply sufficient cloth for bed and cushions.
Strachan West of England is a premium brand for billiard table cloth and this is a quality table cloth that is great for non-competition club tables and private snooker tables. The West of England 6811 Club cloth is very similar to the 6811 Tournament cloth but the 6811 Tournament has a slightly finer weave and should last longer than the Club cloth.
This cloth is not suitable for Pool tables and smaller tables under 8 feet in size. It weighs 868g/m (28oz/yd).
Strachan 6811 Club cloth was previously known as Strachan West of England 6811 Silver. Please note that the shiny side of the cloth is the playing surface and the “woolly” side is the under surface.
Over the years, many of our customers have managed to successfully fit cloth to a table but we would recommend consulting professional fitters if in any doubt. In particular, the cloth arrives folded and experienced fitters are able to remove the creases by brushing (in the direction of the nap) and ironing (with a heavy billiard table iron). Please note that once the cloth has been stretched and installed around a billiard slate, it is not resellable and so returns cannot be accepted.
