Simonis 861 Pool Table Cloth – Bed & Cushion Cut – Powder Blue – 7ft

Simonis 861 worsted / speed cloth in powder blue. Now used on the IPA tour, this 90% wool, 10% nylon cloth is hard-wearing and provides constant speed in all directions. It is non-directional (no nap) producing a true, fast and consistent playing surface.

Manufactured by Iwan Simonis in Belgium. For over 330 years, this world class cloth manufacturer has been producing the finest cloth and is the chosen supplier for many major pool tournaments seen on TV today.

This is a pre-cut cloth set for covering the bed and cushions on a 7ft UK pool table. Typically, speed cloth is used on American tables, but is becoming increasingly popular on English tables as many players prefer a faster game.

Simonis 861 cloth is also Teflon coated making it spill resistant.

Over the years, many of our customers have managed to successfully fit cloth to a table but we would recommend consulting professional fitters if in any doubt. In particular, the cloth arrives folded and experienced fitters are able to remove the creases by brushing (in the direction of the nap) and ironing (with a heavy billiard table iron). Please note that once the cloth has been stretched and installed around a billiard slate, it is not resellable and so returns cannot be accepted.
