Ideal for the larger table, the Strachan West of England 6811 Tournament cloth is a premium brand for billiard tables and is also the market-leading snooker table cloth used in clubs around Great Britain and the world.
The world’s most popular snooker cloth, Strachan West of England 6811 Tournament is fast, accurate with high control. Used exclusively at the IBSF World Championships, the Asian and the European snooker Championships.
This is the heavy version of the 6811 Tournament cloth weighing 32oz/yd which gives it a slower pace that is often preferred by North American customers.
Please note that this cloth is only available in green.
You choose the table size – we will supply sufficient cloth for bed and cushions.
This cloth is not suitable for Pool tables and smaller tables under 8 feet in size.
Strachan 6811 Tournament cloth was previously known as West of England 6811 Gold cloth. Please note that the shiny side of the cloth is the playing surface and the “woolly” side is the under surface.
Over the years, many of our customers have managed to successfully fit cloth to a table but we would recommend consulting professional fitters if in any doubt. In particular, the cloth arrives folded and experienced fitters are able to remove the creases by brushing (in the direction of the nap) and ironing (with a heavy billiard table iron). Please note that once the cloth has been stretched and installed around a billiard slate, it is not resellable and so returns cannot be accepted.
